OWASP day
Yvan Boily will lead a presentation and discussion of the OWASP Top Ten for 2010. The presentation will cover the the OWASP Risk Rating methodology which was used to select the Top Ten threats, and a few key areas of concern about each of the Top Ten items, with a focus on the two new items for 2010.
Yvan Boily works for a large financial organization, was the former chapter
lead for the Winnipeg chapter of OWASP. He has worked in various roles in
IT Security, primarily focused on Application Security and Security Testing. Working for the last 8 years in IT Security, Yvan has held roles in provincial governemnt, independant contracting, and as a consultant for a dedicated IT security firm.
OWASP Vancouver members are also invited.
