Logging and monitoring for Security Incident/Event Management (SIEM)
Security technology has improved protection of assets, but has also created information and data management issues with collection and storage of security event data, as well a analysis.
This session will:
- Review implementation planning for SIEM, product selection, and a review of vendors
- Review common challenges in SIEM and Log Management deployments
- Discuss use of existing centralized monitoring

Security, with 15 years of IT and IT Security experience and the CISSP and CISA certifications. He has been involved in security event monitoring implementation projects, including those using various products, including ArcSight, Intellitactics, Archer, Symantec, and others.
